Recently I had an Agent who claimed they wanted to grow their real estate business to one that earned them a very rewarding income without giving up their personal life to do it. The agent began the process OK but failed when they went to recruit their first agent. They got hung up on the $297 a month recurring fee to have an agent on their team.

The majority of people evaluate opportunities from what it will cost vs. what they gain. The reality is that the $297 is an exchange for their hopes and dreams.

One such agent came to me and said they were struggling to get to all the business parts that needed to be done. I told them to go hire a great admin to help them with the things that were not rainmaking activities. They looked at me as if I were insane and said – "Todd, I can't afford an assistant. That would be like $40K a year, and I can barely pay my bills." My response was clear… you can't afford NOT to hire the assistant – if you are serious about achieving your heart's desire. The agent failed to see that THEM doing the work was FAR MORE expensive than having a qualified admin do it. Paying the admin $40K a year is an exchange for MORE TIME to do rainmaking activities, which leads to multiples of income. Think about investing $40K and receiving $400K back.
I don't know if its background, upbringing, school, college, friends, family, or what that contributes to this scarcity and fear mindset, but it SUCKS!!!!!
